For blogs, I design for Blogger and self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) only. (I’m sorry, I don’t design for WordPress.com blogs due to the restrictions placed on customization set by WordPress.com.)

For websites, I use WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS) which makes updating the content on your website a breeze — no technical know-how required.

Custom Blog Designs

My goal is your complete satisfaction! To get a design that is uniquely yours, fill out the Order form. Once I receive your order, you’ll be placed in the queue and I’ll let you know when I expect to begin work on your project. Depending on the scope of your project, a custom design usually takes 1-4 weeks to complete (not including wait time in the queue). A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the start of your project. The remaining 50% is due prior to installation.

If you don’t see a package below that fits your needs, let me know what you have in mind and I’ll give you a quote.

Basic BLOG design is $350 and includes:

  1. An exclusive design made especially for you per the information you provide in your Design Brief.
  2. A complete layout with your choice of 1 to 3 columns.
  3. Horizontal navigation bar with text links.
  4. Social media and follow icons.
  5. Blog button.
  6. Installation.

Deluxe BLOG design is $495 and includes:

  1. An exclusive design made especially for you per the information you provide in your Design Brief.
  2. A complete layout with your choice of 1 to 3 columns.
  3. Horizontal navigation bar with text links.
  4. Social media and follow icons.
  5. Blog button.
  6. Ad space.
  7. Installation of up to 5 plugins (WordPress blogs only).
  8. One-hour consultation regarding proper use of your new blog (via Skype).
  9. Installation.

“What Amy Would Do” BLOG design is $695. It’s everything I do when I start a brand new blog and includes:

  1. Consultation regarding domain name choice and registration if needed (cost of domain registration not included).
  2. Consultation regarding hosting purchase if needed (cost of hosting not included).
  3. Installation of WordPress.
  4. Optimization of WordPress. (Out of the box, WordPress has some less-than-ideal default settings. I make several changes to make it perform optimally.)
  5. An exclusive design made especially for you per the information you provide in your Design Brief.
  6. A complete layout with your choice of 1 to 6 columns.
  7. Unlimited revisions.
  8. Horizontal navigation bar with custom graphic links.
  9. Custom social media and follow icons.
  10. Blog button.
  11. Ad space.
  12. Installation of up to 10 plugins.
  13. Two-hour consultation (can be split into two 1-hour sessions) regarding proper use of your new blog (via Skype).
  14. Installation.

Custom Websites

Custom WEBSITES start at $700 for a basic, 5-page informational (sometimes called “brochure”) site. This option is perfect for those who just want a simple site to get the word out about services they offer at an affordable price.

A custom website is great for:

  • Small businesses offering services (ex. doctors, landscapers, painters, house cleaners, virtual assistants, freelancers, etc.)
  • Organizations (ex. churches, ministries, preschools, schools, social service organizations, etc.)
  • Professionals (ex. authors, speakers, musicians, writers, etc.)

E-commerce sites — for selling products online — are priced differently and higher. Contact me for more info.

Blog Prefabs start at $30

The reason I can price Prefabs as low as I do is because the most time-consuming design work is already done and I can simply “plug in” your title, tagline and photo (if applicable) to your existing theme.

Choose a Prefab if you:

  • Want a new look but don’t want to spend a lot of money.
  • Want to have an idea of what you’re getting before you buy.
  • Want a new look quick. (Prefabs usually take between 2 & 4 days to complete. Note: This does not include wait time in the queue.)

Payment in full is due prior to the start of Prefab projects.

Other Services

Custom Blog Header $100 – Includes a custom design per your specifications installed in your existing Blogger or WordPress theme.

Prefab Retirement $50 – If you see a Prefab you love and can’t stand the thought of anyone else using it, retire it! It’ll be yours only and never sold again. (Note: Only Prefabs which have not be sold previously are available for retirement.)

Blogger to WordPress Migration $200 – Includes moving posts and comments from Blogger to your self-hosted WordPress blog. (WordPress installation, design and theme customization extra.)
